🎮 Why We’re Launching Defiant Gamer (and What You Can Expect)

Welcome to Defiant Gamer! This a new kind of gaming blog for beginners, hobbyists, and anyone who games for fun (not trophies, well maybe some trophies). We’re Sam and Alana, and while we’re not pro streamers or esports champions, we are real gamers who love getting lost in PC, mobile and VR worlds, sometimes rage-quitting them, and always laughing along the way. We will poste short highlights of our games, so make sure you look for those.

👾 Who We Are

We’re a gaming group who decided to turn our game nights into something more, such as a place to share our experiences, talk gear, drop reviews, and build a space where fun comes first. Alana plays a lot of VR games, while Sam handles the PC titles (with the occasional well-earned rage-quit). Together, we cover a wide spectrum of gaming chaos in our fun gaming blog. If you like gaming and like all kinds of different games this is the site for you.

This isn’t a sweat-fest gaming blog. This is a place for real talk, humor, and games we actually enjoy. We want to build a community here and we want you to be apart of it.

Whether it’s Alana flailing in VR (Yeah right, that doesn’t happen) or Sam breaking up with a game mid-rant (that may happen), we’re keeping it real and fun. I mean at its core these games should be fun, and entertaining, right?

Our first feature post will drop soon, and it’ll be loaded with gameplay footage paired with a voiceover discussion we recorded a bit ago, kind of like a “pilot episode” of what Defiant Gamer is all about.

From there, expect new content weekly as we build this community out, and maybe even a little merch down the road. Keep an eye out for streaming content on Twitch and check out You tube for new videos. Feel free to interact, joke and just have fun with us. And as we get to know each other I hope we can interact more, who knows maybe we will se you at a gaming tournament, or some kind of event.
